Independent Care Canada (ICC) was formed to provide much needed support to the elderly wishing to retain personal independence throughout their senior years. ICC enables independent living.
Canada's population is aging. Our parents are living longer lives and the Baby Boomer generation is poised to enter the retirement years. We are all moving closer to retirement. And inevitably for many of us, we arrive at a point where it becomes a challenge to either manage living on our own or, in the case where we are the children of elderly parents, to be confident in our ability to care for them adequately and without worry.
At ICC, we believe retirement should be an enjoyable phase of an individual's life. The culmination of a lifetime of hard work and dedication to raising families should not be steeped in uncertainty or loss of independence. We wanted to offer something that we wouldn't hesitate to leverage for our parents and ourselves as we reach this important threshold.
A life with dignity. One that doesn't burden our children...where we feel safe and secure. But ultimately it's about independent living.
